share some pic's of my XKR with the new 10mm spacers added, front and rear - she really feels much much better and more stable with these on than before if You ask me + it looks also much nicer.
btw - no problems with the tire's hitting the fenders at all in my case.
note: I also had a pair of 20mm, but I decided that 10mm is enough so I have not tested these yet.
Howdy folks:
I'm just curious (especially concerning the front), would someone please elaborate on the how, where , and/or pics for using spacers for lowering. All I can visualize would lift instead.
Many thanks.
Pretty sure the reference here is to wheel spacers which don't affect ride height - rather track width. I put spacers on mine because I am running Corvette wheels with a much higher offset than that of the revolvers. I sized to push the outside edge to about where the OEM 20x10s sit.

It's an illusion to me is that I assumed was that the ride height was lower. I stand corrected.
Thanks
after testing the Universal spacers I strongly recommend that if You want to add spacers to Your car, get "real" spacers, not Universal ones, as it's a pain to get the front wheel's balanced properly, this because they do not center exactly around the wheel hub. I have got them balanced twice now, she runs ok, but still not 100% perfect balanced. so, I will change mine to next summer and
if You run wheel's the same size as me 10"X20" 285/30 in the rear and
9"X20" 255/35 in the front, I advise do not go wider than 10mm, my front wheels sometimes hit the front inner fender when driving fast on a bad road with larger bumps, but then again mine is also lowered with sport suspension, so You need to test what fit's best for Your car.
