This is how I choose to expand the 3/8" ps line on one end so it would fit on the nipple on the res. Heat gun to limber up the rubber hose on a 30 degree day. Add enough 16 penny nails to expand the hose. Then quick like a bunny remove the nails, run across the garage, and cram this on the res before it cools and shrinks. Repeat as necessary.
