Here is a pictures of the Quarter Light Trim lower leading edge issue on my car, where it has come away, on the right hand side of the car. The other side is the same. There is a slight curve in the body below this point and what I think is happening is that the plastic Trim moulding doesn't have this curve moulded in and it relies on the sticky pad underneath to hold it down, but over time and hot summer temperatures, the sticky pad has failed?
