Default New Ingenium petrol and diesels announced for XE, XF & F-Pace

I posted in XE thread as well but thought I would post here as well...

Jaguar F-Pace, XF and XE ranges updated with new Ingenium engines | Autocar

2.0 petrol: 197 bhp and 247 bhp
2.0 diesel: 237 bhp

XE gets all three options + bump to 375 bhp in 3.0 V6

F-Pace gets new diesel option and higher power petrol

And the ICTP gets a dual-view option where driver and passenger see different content.

I assume this will all roll into US MY18 offerings as well.
Finally, the engine options I'm really interested in for F-Pace.

Updated details for US models:
http://media.jaguar.com/en-us/news/2...-and-xe-models

Looks like a bump of ~$1000 for diesel and ~$2300 for 3.5t of same model.
They've dropped the loss-leader base model on all trims except the new 2.5t model.

I replied in XE, but yes, my question is really the same for F-Pace. Interested in the torque numbers for the new Ingenium petrol twin turbo 4 cylinder with 247 HP. Have read every article on this and NOWHERE does this number appear. ANYONE HELP???

Think the F-pace in a 4 will be great in Jag AWD as the old Ford one was really actually good in the old pre-aluminium XF, which is about the same weight as the new F-Pace. Lighter than the 6, it moved just as quick, but lacked a little of the torque get up and go of the 6. Hoping this 4 in the F-Pace has some better torque than the old Ford 4. If it does and matches what the Porsche does in the Macan, it will be a winner. Anyone know the answer??

And BTW, the 4 banger in the Porsche is the same 4CYL from VW used in their cars and the AUdi Q5. Makes 252 HP and 273 Torque at 1600 RPM. I don't think their are any special modifications made to it by Porsche, just a nice 4 pot.

I posted over there too, but it's 269 lb-ft at 1200 rpm (up from 251 at 1750 rpm in the old Ford engine). It's roughly flat to 4500 rpm.

I agree. This is the engine I was waiting for - hoped they would put it in the F-Pace when it finally came out. The only thing better would be to have the option of the 237hp twn-turbo diesel.

My wife drives Q5 2.0 with ~210hp/258lb-ft (1500-4500) and it is really responsive. I think the F-Pace is close to the same weight, maybe a bit lighter in 4-cyl form, so should have similar-to-better acceleration.
