Photoshoot with the 2016 Jaguar F-Type R
Just thought I'd share some beautiful photos of the '16 F-Type R I just came across online. I believe this is a Canadian spec model:

I saw Ammonite Grey the other day when I went to take my Stratus Grey 2015 V6S in for its initial service and it's certainly a lovely color (but then I think that they all are!). Upon detailed examination of these splendid photos - and a really good eye - I [still] cannot tell if it is, indeed, Ammonite Grey but my inclination is to say that it is and it is just the way the light hits it which suggests that it might be a darker color.
FWIW.

There really is no sense in trying to determine exactly what color it is. I good photographer (or photoshop adjustments) can set up lighting and white balance to make a red car look blue...
(Of course many of these outstanding photos are in natural light!)

Debadging is mandatory. Never concern yourself with the theory that only Jaguar knows how to badge a car properly. They are looking at things from a standpoint of using your car as their driving billboard - thus all the redundancy. Especially in a F-Type where the clean lines are so epic - let the lines speak for themselves. If someone cant figure out what kind of car it is by seeing a leaper alone basically isn't enough of a car person to even matter.
The other thing to consider is to color match the lower valance to your car. I got the idea from Ferrari. They do it on the 388 and it works. Lowers the center of gravity from a rear view. It's not as ambitious of a project as you might think. Got mine done for 2500mag at my go to body shop.
Clean up that rear clutter.
