If you listen to Mike when he speaks, sounds like a really great guy. Retired Air Force, so I could care less about a discount. Giving him business for an excellent solution is my way of saying thanks for his service.

I just ordered one too, glad I hadn't mounted the front license plate yet. Looking forward to it, hope it comes with instructions to install.

Mike is definitely on the ball. I ordered late this afternoon and had a notice that it had shipped by 9p.

That is just perfect! It is so incredibly simple, but that's often the case with an elegant solution.

Thumbs up

Thanks Buick, that's the best solution for mounting a front plate I've seen. Placed my order just in case I need it some day.

I'm telling you...in talking with Mike, you can tell the devil is in the details,it looks simple but a lot of thought has gone on to make it the efficient and simple design you see here...bravo Mike and his entire family.

He told me he just received his patent on it last month...thanks Wayne for the comments and hope to see you again on a future cruise soon.

Just placed my order too.

Btw, if you want to pay with PayPal, make sure to not use the initial Paypal checkout option, use the normal checkout and specify Paypal in the payment section, otherwise you don't see the coupon option. At least it didn't work for me initially. The JAGFORUM discount drops $9 USD off the price.

Correct T...single hole already there...if you get down on the floor in front of your car you'll see it.

It works with PayPal, I did it that way. Just work your way through the menu and it ask for the code before you finalize the payment.

Oh absolutely, I understand that. You can tell from the pictures that it's incredibly well-engineered. I meant that the concept is so simple and elegant. The location is also the perfect one for the F-Type's front-end design.

With the single-hole attachment and the mounting hole already there, courtesy of JLR, it looks to be about a 5-minute installation.

Now I'm off to Home Depot search for bumper plugs. The small button heads on nylon fasteners should be perfect. That's no big deal and no more noticeable than the parking sensors.

Living in Maryland, where the front plate law is enforced with a zealous enthusiasm, it will be a semi-permanent installation for me. In this state, it's not a matter of getting a "fix-it ticket" from a meter maid. You get routinely pulled over and handed an expensive citation. There's no such thing as a "fix-it ticket."

Well that sucks Foosh, here in Cali it's just a matter of finding a CHP officer or driving to the closest station...which is about a 10 minute drive for me...and get it signed off. No fines and no points or penalty.
I suppose if I were to get pulled over again,I could just yank it out of the boot and attach it right on the spot...and they'd let you off without so much as a warning.

Mike is amazing. I had ordered prior to the discount code being posted and I just received a refund of $9.00 without even inquiring. Now that is great customer service. I received a ship notification very soon after placing my order yesterday.
