Fantastic!

You just saved me a two hour round trip to tone out
the DLC cable.

I'm in agreement on the host cable side based upon
examination of the circuit board.

Does the full version of the document laying out the
DLC cable exist somewhere on the internet?

Probably, the name of the document is IDS Maintenance Guide_v1.3
