Jaguars on the big screen

The new Mechanic has the E type, which mostly sits in a garage, except for one scene towards the end. It was an ok movie, although fairly predictable. I watched it on a flight, then tried watching the Green Hornet. The bad guy opens the movie by getting out of an Xj8. I gave up on the movie after a while, so I don't know if the jag reappears.

You know most of these movies really aren't very good. Even "52 pickup" was only reasonable and it has long since been lost in the bin of history and trivia.
You really have to be dedicated to suffer through a bad movie just to enjoy a scene with a Jaguar in it.
Now, "In a New York Heartbeat" seems to be shaping up to be watchable, lets see what happenes there. Should be out this summer, with that 1950 MK V

There's a black convertible XK8 in "Employee of the Month" with Matt Dillon, and Christina Applegate. You don't see much of it until the end.

You won't believe it. That stunning XKE is blown up in the end. They will never make that car again! That can't be replaced you Hollywood ********!
I believe the penalty should be prison time for destoying a classic car in a stupid useless movie.
Also, Patrick Stewart drives a nice X300 (silver) in Safe House, and
the bad guy in the latest Bond film has an X308 Daimler Super V8.
