Maxxis tyres on an XF anybody?
I need 2 new rears and was wondering if anybody is running Maxxis on their XFs? They seem to get pretty good reviews and are £100 a corner cheaper than Eagle F1.
All advice welcome. If there is a major advantage to the Eagles I'll bite the bullet and buy them, but it would be nice to save £200.
FYI I would put my driving style as brisk but nowhere near on the edge.
Thanks
Ian

I used to own a Mkiv Toyota Supra TT that came with cheap and very nasty Nankang Ditchfinder tyres. In anything but totally dry conditions it was like a drift car every time I touched the accelerator. Immediately I invested in Goodyear Eagle GSD3's and the difference was like night and day!!
I have Maxxis tyres on the Zafira 2.0 Dti as it is a 99 horsepower kid carrying bus.... IMHO that's what they are suitable for.
Oh a high performance high power saloon I'd never skimp on tyres or brakes. Just my opinion though
