Welcome to the 2017 Annual Convoy & Meet Event

This event will be taking place on Sunday 28th May 2017 - with the main venue being Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event! This year things are set to be even bigger and better than ever before with hopefully more cars (we now have a ceiling of 400 vehicles), more sponsors, more prizes to be won on the day, and our annual award of the 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award up for grabs again!

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services with a quick Welcome speech and your free Welcome Packs handed out.

There will then be a convoy through winding country roads, with gorgeous scenery, from Pease Pottage to our new venue at Denbies Wine Estate. It will be the first time these roads will have ever seen this number of Jaguars passing through, and will set the mood for our arrival at Denbies, where we will have a grassed, enclosed area set aside exclusively for us for the day.

Denbies will be laying on a breakfast for us upon arrival. The options being: Full English breakfast with Tea or Coffee & Orange juice £8.25, a Bacon or Sausage Buttie £3.50, and a Bacon or Sausage Buttie with Egg £4.75. Please note that there will also be 10% discount vouchers available to attendees to reduce these prices :-)

As you know we like to try to work with our sponsors to keep your Jaguar costs low... and we are pleased to say we have arranged the following discount codes (so far) for event attendees, which will be active from now until our event:

Prestige Car Care is offering all attendees a 10% discount on their entire product range which includes some superb car cleaning products - to take advantage of this great offer go to Featured Products - Prestige Car Care Shop and use the checkout code 'jags' to get your event attendee discount!

Scratchshield.co.uk can help you keep your car scratch free for our event with a huge 25% discount using the checkout code ' JAGBRI16/17'

Additionally, following on from last year, we have the FREE service for attendees - the 'Don't Miss a Thing' texting service :-) If you drop me a line with your name & mobile number before the day we will ensure that you get a text just before any event on the day, such as banner signing, prize draws, winners of judged contests etc.. just drop a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk if you would like to guarantee you miss nothing on the day..

Plus, if you want to make a weekend of it, we have teamed up with HolidayInn Express in Crawley and have a fixed discounted rate of £54 a night for attendees, plus guaranteed availability of rooms for us :-) please see their details below, or follow this link HolidayInn Express Crawley. Just remember to quote that you are with the 'JaguarForums.com' event to get guaranteed availability and the fixed discounted rate of £54 a night.

If you would like to sign up for this event please just pop a post on the thread inc how many will likely be coming, and car details, and I will add you in. If you prefer, you are also very welcome to sign up by dropping a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk :-)

It's Friday finally! And our event has been developing well in just the last seven days with two further sponsors choosing to continue the sponsorship of our event into 2017, and even more Jaguars are now signed up.

We have a great new venue, with no parking costs. We have a more scenic convoy element than ever before & a bigger than ever main event making it a complete day for everyone.

Currently we have:

Our forum threads have received almost 11,000 views (noting our last event threads are still running and have received over 110,000 hits so far)

Our Twitter feed now has 194 followers

Our Facebook page has 43 friends

We have 13 sponsors including some big industry names

We have 2 advertising partners

We have retained last years fixed price accomodation (with guaranteed availability) with our accomodation partner

The Leather Repair Company will have a stand on site and be there for all your leather queries and issues

Harwoods Jaguar will be on site with at least two showroom cars, and there for all your sales and servicing queries.

I am still in discussions with potential sponsors, and some car clubs/forums regarding onsite presence and sponsorship too.

We have a great event ahead of us, still completely free to sign up for and attend, but promising a full on Jaguar day out for everyone.

To date we have 39 Jaguars, and 62 people signed up, with 62 years of Jaguar production!! If you haven't signed up yet, why not? And guarantee yourself a slot for this event - we are aiming for 200+ Jaguars for the day, why not help us smash that target :-)

Don't forget you can sign up free by popping a post on one of our forum threads, tweeting us @JFBrightonMeets #MayJagMeet, posting on Facebook www.facebook.com/JaguarForumsUK, or by emailing JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk. Just list your Jaguar model, year, and how many people will be coming and I'll get you added in.

Welcome to a damp and dark Friday, and time to start making those plans for the end of winter when we can all hit the open road once again..

Here is the latest on our next event:

We have a great new venue, with no parking costs. We have a more scenic convoy element than ever before & a bigger than ever main event making it a complete day for everyone.

Currently we have:

Our forum threads have received almost 11,000 views (noting our last event threads are still running and have received over 110,000 hits so far)

Our Twitter feed now has 201 followers

Our Facebook page has 45 friends

We have 14 sponsors including some big industry names

We have 2 advertising partners

We have retained last years fixed price accomodation (with guaranteed availability) with our accomodation partner

The Leather Repair Company will have a stand on site and be there for all your leather queries and issues

Harwoods Jaguar will be on site with at least two showroom cars, and there for all your sales and servicing queries.

I am still in discussions with potential sponsors, and some car clubs/forums regarding onsite presence and sponsorship too.

We have a great event ahead of us, still completely free to sign up for and attend, but promising a full on Jaguar day out for everyone.

To date we have 40 Jaguars, and 67 people signed up, with a huge 62 years of Jaguar production!!

I am really pleased to announce quite a bit has been going on this week regarding our event :-)

We have had some unexpected negotiations going on which I am pleased to announce have led to us having a three year arrangement with one of our sponsors - The Leather Repair Centre.

There have been a number of additional attendee signups this week.

We have just signed with Anglian Remaps, who specialise in Jaguar remapping :-) They will be onsite to talk to you, and offer remaps either onsite, or book for after the event. Additionally they are offering some great prizes for the prize draw on the day including a free Jaguar remap worth £245 :-)

Huge thanks, and a very warm welcome goes to them for their support of our event.

We are looking for anyone with an unusual or rare Jaguar - whether that be a C or D-Type, an XJ220, or any of the early Jaguars, or even a heavily modified Jaguar - please, please get in touch as it would be great to have you onboard at our next event.

We currently have almost 50 Jaguars signed up, spanning an amazing 62 years of production - why not join them for what promises to be a great day?

We will have the Leather Repair Company, Anglian Remaps, Harwoods Jaguar there to meet you and happy to talk, sales, servicing, maintenance, engine mapping, leather repair & care and even able to perform work onsite for you..

A great day for you, your Jaguar, and your family with all the facilities that come with our new home at Denbies Wine Estate.

It's free to sign up, and attend, we will have a great prize draw on the day, and you might even win the prestigeous 'Best Turned Out Jag' award, keeping the cup for a year!

Welcome to the 2017 Annual Convoy & Meet Event

This event will be taking place on Sunday 28th May 2017 - with the main venue being Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event! This year things are set to be even bigger and better than ever before with more cars (we now have a ceiling of 400 vehicles), more sponsors (with some able to perform work on site for you!), more prizes to be won on the day, and our annual award of the prestigeous 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award up for grabs again!

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services with a quick Welcome speech and your free Welcome Packs handed out.

There will then be a convoy through winding country roads, with gorgeous scenery, from Pease Pottage to our new venue at Denbies Wine Estate. It will be the first time these roads will have ever seen this number of Jaguars passing through, and will set the tone for our arrival at Denbies, where we will have a grassed, enclosed area set aside exclusively for us for the day.
