Default Ok, Tata, whatever your marketing department says....

Looking for Ellucian Banner XE news today, I came across this...

Its got a picture of an XK - but the story is about the XE. Maybe they can't tell the difference? Whatever the case, they're idiots, and while the XE isn't fugly, neither is it the "world's most beautiful car"

Hey Ian Callum, have you seen that new Buick Avenir? (Just put a cat on the grill and call it the new XJ!)

Ian Callum, the head of design at Jaguar, is a happy man. His latest design, the all-new Jaguar XE, has won the most coveted title of the World’s Most Beautiful Car of 2014. As you may recall, the F-Type is a sight for sore eyes and the Jaguar XE revealed late last year is also quite an attractive sedan.

The XE picked up the coveted design award at the 30th Festival Automobile International in Paris. It faced stiff competition from the Mazda MX-5, Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate and the Fiat 500X. The award is decided by a public vote, with more than 100,000 votes cast across 59 countries. The XE won it with 28 percent of the votes. It will be coming to India by early 2016 to take on the likes of the BMW 3-series, new Mercedes-Benz C-class and theAudi A4. Till now Jaguar didn’t have a sedan in this range to take the fight to the big German three in a segment that has potential for high numbers. Jaguar has got the design spot on with a good mix of Jaguar family design cues in all its major elements

Perhaps because JLR is a subsidiary of Tata?

Other than that, who knows...

Looks like the news article writer googled the wrong picture or TATAs marketing team sent him the wrong one...I wonder which it could be (maybe it would have been more accurate if he asked the Jaguar marketing team?). Just kidding. but yeah the new Buick looks nice similar to a jag XJ
