There are a few online parts sites in the UK, not sure about in the US though?
I am sure that you could ship parts from the UK to US but by the time you pay for shipping it might be as cheap to go to the Dealer?
Might be worth having a look at this:
British Parts UK Jaguar | Land Rover parts export | British Parts UK
Cheers

ok now spark plugs ive read the multiple threads, and i see big arguments about gap size, OE, and Bosch vs NGK, on rock auto i will most likely go for the Bosch as the NGK are 3x the price, all i want to know is which Bosch plug to get they have how many different plugs!!!!
Here is the available range of eight types from Bosch for your 2000 XJ8:
The numbers on the left are Bosch part numbers. All are suitable and the price difference is largely down to how long they will retain an accurate gap and will last. Choose how much you want to spend.
The good news is five out of the eight types are pre-set to the correct gap so wouldn't need worry about setting them if you choose one of the pre-set options.
If you choose one of the others, the gap is shown in the bottom line here:
Jaguar recommend NGK plugs which is why the name is shown in the Vehicle Care Handbook but the same gap applies to Bosch.

I looked in JTIS and it's at the first clamp where the cats connect to the front muffler as described within JTIS. I'm not sure about an index ring, but it appears identical to what is shown in JTIS and installed correctly. I'll have to get under there, loosen the clamps and torque them properly to the specified 60-80 Nm.
Changed all the light bulbs to Xenon and boy what a difference in night vision. Great bulbs and cheap and easy to replace.
okay- so Dinger is in London. here in the US, i've not seen "Xenon" bulbs in the local auto parts store. my X308 appears (from the outside) to have conventional small halogen-insert bulbs. forgive my ignorance, but i am under the impression that Xenon headlights are a different breed entirely.
can we get real Xenon bulbs here in the US? i've seen cars at night with blue-tint halogens, but it's no comparison to meeting a car with true Xenon lights.
what's the best replacement bulb for a US X308? is there any truth to the advertising of the Sylvania SilverStar bulbs? is there really a way to convert my X308 to Xenon just by changing the bulbs-- if so, where do i get 'em, and what's the cost?
thanks!!

Xenon is a type of gas thats all that xenon is, now Xenon gas can be found in HID bulb (High Intensity Discharge) a HID bulb requires a special ballast to ignite the Xenon filled bulb, now converting your headlamps to HID is not a simple take out the bulb and swap it, takes some time, also for ever different bulb you change you will need another HID ballast
now last time i checked HID kits are not available at your local autoparts store, only online, there are a ton of kits online, but other X308 members use and recommend Kensun and HIDeXtra
there are many threads on here regarding HID kits and swaps https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...id-u-do-83141/, https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...upgrade-61476/

I buy mine from my local Jaguar Dealer but there's nothing magical about their orange coolant. You can source OAT (Organic Acid Technology) Extended Life orange coolant from any Auto parts store.
The important thing to look out for is the specification. It must comply with or exceed WSS M97B44-D. This specification will appear on the container label.
