I am interested to buy a XJ6 Series 2 in excellent condition
Here is the description of the car and the its condition I am looking for:
* Colour, interior and exterior should be grey (dark / light), all kind of beige, interior can be brown, grey.
* Prefers classical colours (not green, not blue, not bright, not silver, not modern colours, etc.)
* Car looks is very important: Car needs to be in perfect condition (ex: Owner had many cars, so didn’t drive it very often. Car should have one but not more than 2 owners)
* Automatic, Left drive
I include below pictures of a car seen in Switzerland that I liked very much (I believe a Jaguar XJ6 Series 2 but please let me know if you think it is a different model or have additional info regarding this specific model)

Price isn't really an issue (it's for somebody who has the needed means to purchase an expensive car) and is based in Russia / Italy, but can travel anywhere the car is based.
Would you know places / dealers / car restore places that might sell this kind of car?

This should be good. I'm now the third Aussie, teamed up with an American to advise a Frenchman(oui?) how and where to buy a priceless rarity for a reclusive Russian / Italian!
However, I think the advice I offer may indeed help. Firstly, if you can invest the time, I suggest you google and buy one of the excellent books which details all the XJ6/12/Daimler models and variants - giving you a better understanding of each, relative values, and what to look for.
Secondly, I suggest you contact the largest of the clubs dedicated to the Jaguar/Daimler marque - either locally in Europe or in the UK - perhaps the Jaguar Owners/Drivers/Enthusiasts Club. They have among their members, experts on the various model variants and are perhaps best placed to know of specific top-shelf cars for sale at any time. Alternatively, do not underestimate the largest of the National Dealers of current Jaguar models - many of them across the world will market such rare and pristine classics on a one-off consignment basis.
You do realize you will be talking serious money for a close to perfect example . . . more so if you are looking at the XJC (Coupe) . . . keep a respirator handy if you wish to venture into the heady realms of the top-of-the-line Daimler Double Six (V12) VanDen Plas - especially in the vice-regal or officialdom colours of black, charcoal or dark grey that you may favour. I know - I had a Series2 in Black over Autumn Gold VDP for many years, and now realize how incredibly rare they are.

I just remembered that one is a series 3, still a very nice car. Beware the series 2 XJ6L...
Also, the series 1 4dr cars are more akin to the XJC in my view. Smaller or shorter anyways, same wheelbase as the xjc. Gorgeous cars.
The 2dr coupes will be hard to find to your specs, but you'll prob search 'til you find one. Just be sure to stay in touch here for advice on maintaining and owning one. You have good taste in cars and art...
So, as we have all observed, you have something of a challenge to find the perfect car. Your search really should be global - the ideal could be in any country. Post on all Jaguar/Daimler forums, also check the Jaguar World Magazine (UK) as they frequently show specialist vendors listing high end Jaguars of all models.
Without wishing to offend our American friends, IMO you would be best to search for a Euro spec (ROW) example. Unfortunately, the ugly extended bumpers and add-on reflector/repeater lamps the American's were lumbered with to meet local regulations do nothing to complement the XJ's lines, although some NA owners have since modified theirs to original Euro specs. Ironically, more XJ's were exported to the US than anywhere else so I guess that's where the greater number of survivors may exist.

I like my basic 83 four door. Big bumpers, matching head lights, bumpy side markers and all. Even early on, with Kent Wheels, overburdened DOHC, antique BW 66 and quirky electrics.
Advanced (?). GM LT1 and 4l60E. XJS lattice wheels. Understanding Sir Lucas goes on. One of my favorite cars, of all the ones I've had over 80 years!!!! More than a few, some mine, some furnished by my employer....

As of now, it needs a bath. Will it get one? Not likely. I don't want pneumonia!!!! It's cold out there....
I love the look of the XJC, especially that black beauty. But weren't those pillarless windows an absolute nightmare in R&D? Pushing costs up & the release date back by some months. & weren't they the biggest blight the car had in production? Often leaking & usually with excessive wind noise. So has 40 years of consumer research done any better than Jaguar managed? i.e. Has the window issue been fixed? How was it fixed? What does it cost to fix? & how do you tell that any remedial work has been carried out to an adequate standard? These are the questions I'd like answered before I put my hard earned down on one of these flawed beauties.

He admits to 88. That's not bad, most kids where I grew up were driving by at least 8. One of the cousins was driving at 5, helping his dad get the car out of the snow, but still..... They made me wait till I was 12, seeing as I was just a girl. I'm making up for that now!

Glory days. Dad taught me to drive at 9, we would go out weekly to a nearby disused airfield so I could learn how to handle a car in all conditions. He drove trucks and tank haulers with the British Army and he insisted the only way to drive was using double clutch technique with a manual box. No option, just had to do it. "Synchro boxes are for girls", he'd say (no offence Elinor!!). "Automatic? that's not driving"!
Friend's 92 y/o father bought his last (brand new) car 2 years ago and he's been driving since he could reach the pedals. Respect indeed for those guys.
While I'm at it, a message for Teens and Y gens: You can learn heaps from these veterans - and it may come as a shock when you discover you don't actually know everything, nor do you own the road!! Live long and prosper
