In the bookstore last night, I passed the magazine rack and these two magazines were side by side. Not too often that you see classic Jaguars gracing the covers of two prominent classic car magazines.

 

Thank you for posting about these magazines. I don't usually buy magazines at the newsstand because of the expense but I will buy one on occasion if I see something special.

I had to go to the local Barnes and Nobel to find these magazines. While I was there I also found a Jaguar magazine that has a feature of the last of the XK's.

The Thoroughbreds and Class Cars magazine had an article on the 40th anniversary of the XJS. The article was very encouraging in that it expressed that an appreciation for the XJS is growing and that more people are considering them to become collectable.

I hope that more articles like this will be written in the future and that more people will come to understand the special appeal of the XJS.

I have to admit that the XJS is growing on me. I never much cared for it when it replaced the XKE, but now in looking at them, they have a gracefulness and a look of their own. Yours look great! Enjoy.
