Default Old parts need new home

Gentlemen,

I've sifted through several boxes of old parts and have lots and lots of bits, and a couple of possible gems, which I'd like to save from the scrap heap.

Just to be clear - I am *NOT* trying to retire off of these parts, as I said above, I just am not prepared to scrap them yet.

A few pics are attached, but I have many (MANY!) more pics in a dropbox folder. Many of these parts could be refurbished and put back in service (when paired with the right restoration project), but some may only be suitable as patterns for making new parts (like the 120 gas tank I have, not pictured here).

If you'd like to see everything, PM me with an email address and I'll send you a invite to share the dropbox folder full of pics.

Thanks.

While it's probably beyond too late for your XK parts, since your handle has racer in it, I have to ask if you ever put rack and pinion steering in your 120 racer?

If so will you tell me how to do it?

Thanks, in advance.

Best regards, Brian

Brian,

It's almost 3 years since 360gtracer was last logged onto the forum.

Brian - my 120 is not a racer, though it was in the 1960's. My "360gtracer" handle is from my days working on a Ferrari race team, where we raced an F360GT in the Grand-Am Road Racing series (the road racing arm of NASCAR here in the states). That aside, although I've *thought* about rack & pinion in the 120, it's never been done to this car. Sorry I can't help more.....

Graham - you're right, and shame on me. Just way too much "life" flowing beneath my bridges, I've been distracted by many other things. Please don't confuse my lack of activity with lack of interest. Many apologies....
