I see from the 'edit' on your post that you've been unable to add pictures. Check this thread for info:

That to me is the best colour combination. I like the style too, there is a gray car further down the page (which I am sure is a great car and his pride and joy) given the two cars Id prefer yours for style etc.

Honestly, I can't remember. I found them on ebay and they were 500.00 free shipping! He had like 20 sets and after I posted pics and told where I got them, he sold out in two days! They've been great and the quality was much better than expected for the price.
Closest thing could find to the arden wheels (6000.00!)

Color change
Hi Graham, I should make a correction - the original color was midnight, but these photos show the car in her new black paint job. Whereas midnight has a visible blue hue, the new paint is a variation of 'ultimate black'. The factory ultimate black is a tri-coat (I think), but Priscilla was treated to a five coat process including a layer of rainbow glitter in the first application of clear coat... I'll see if I can post a close up. At night she's unmistakeable black, but by day with a coat of Meg's tech yellow wax, she shimmers. As for the plate, I tried fitting a 'hide-a-plate' made for a corvette but it hit the road on it's maiden voyage and fell off. Priscilla has about 4" clearance at the front, owing to the raked set up on the Hydras, and about 5" on the Whitelys. A project which will have to wait til next summer will be to lower the rear by 2" and level her out. I think the raked look suits the classic nose cone, but it's impractical with the 05/06 version. Even the 07 rides higher than Priscilla. a little known fact in Ohio is that front license plates are enforced on a county by county basis. They're required in my county, but there's a petition to remove the requirement, owing to the sheer number of classics and hot rods you see on the roads here in the summer. I put my front plate on the dash... I was thinking to get a vinyl made, something reminiscent of the way E-Type's had in the UK back in the day. Priscilla is just about de-badged and her lines are smoother over. Even the trunk key hole is closed and painted over. If I was to do the bodywork over, I would have closed the holes where the leapers / side markers go on the fender. I would have also closed over the fog light and side markers on the nose cone, then fitted rally style fog lights behind the grille. With the bumperlettes removed there's room for a pair of slim profile fog lights. I would have blended the Arden rocker panels into the body, and also deleted the line between the nose cone and the front fenders. The catch with blending these panels is that I'd have to stiffen the chassis, and pray the nose cone never hits anything. Or rather, not so much worried about my driving, but the dust tray under the nose cone has hit bumps in the road before. If the nose cone were blended into the fenders, no doubt it would look amazing, but any knocks to the dust tray would translate to cracks in the blended lines. Next summer will be all about improving performance - starting with something similar to the Avos upgrade, and a wild exhaust design of my own, which I hope will compare favorably against the McLeod mod. Anyway, thanks for asking - she's a beaut!
