Jaguar and Gorillaz and Formula E, Oh My

Okay, who am I kidding, everyone’s a winner in Jaguar’s new partnership, which finds the Gorillaz’s cartoon guitarist, Noodle, moonlighting as a global ambassador for Formula E. Noodle, if you’re not in the know, is a founding member of the popular British virtual band, Gorillaz.
If you need any further proof that Jaguar is looking to woo a younger generation, take this little blurb from the YouTube description for Jaguar’s video below: “As Jaguar Racing spearheads the development of next generation electric vehicle technology, Noodle will help to inspire the next generation of young engineers be a part of the biggest change the car industry has ever seen.”
Of course, this is Jaguar’s first foray into the all-electric Formula E racing series. The series itself is but two years old, and represents the pinnacle of electric engine research and development. So a virtual ambassador would seem right up Formula E’s futuristic alley.
