Hi all, despite currently mainly working on Jaguars, my father has a 2018 Range Rover evoque. Due to non functional sound on the car (satnav, radio, even the parking sensors) I’ve narrowed down the problem to water ingress under the drivers seat.

there are two units underneath, a 12 channel amp which has been replaced to no avail and a unit marked h9a3-19c211-AE which I guess is the brains of the operation. This is a Jaguar Land Rover unit and is fitted in many models but the last two letters of it are varying specs.

Used models on eBay etc are limited with the AE but there are plenty of AD/HF/AF/HE/CE available for a lot less money.

Does anyone know if there’s cross compatibility even with a loss of some functions, or what the designations mean please?

I recently replaced a jag screen with a different two letter designation on an XK and apart from a few graphics it worked absolutely fine. A kind member posted a compatibility list for that and hoping there was the same for this. Thanks
