I am looking to replace the factory head unit with a new one.
I want to know what is the best brand and quality wise for an XKR.

Any Suggestions?

You can get any single DIN unit, but you'll have to have a custom faceplate made.

The navigation (if you have one) will cease to work if you remove the factory deck. Just FYI there.

I've seen a car or two that have relocated the heated seats, fogs aux button bar to the glove box, and put a 7" touchscreen in there..again, custom faceplate needed.

Or, you could put a motorized screen in there, but that often covers all of the climate controls when extended.

Other than that, you can do almost whatever you want. I've done alot on my system (links in the FAQ thread for xk8s/r) so if you have any specific questions, I'll help where I can.

We've also got resident A/V experts too as members, so they will have some insight as well (phdvolt being one of them, he's got alot of contacts nationwide)
