CD Changer Swap
I'm a new owner with the following audio issue.
My CD changer has quit on my 2001 XKR and I plan on swapping it out with a used unit. Are there any guides for taking the unit out?
Does anything special need to be done once the bolts to the structure are removed? other that all the wiring connections....

if you're swapping like for like then you shouldn't have any issues, just remove the old one and put the new one in. There should only be one plug too, an Alpine AI-net cable.
Make sure you use one from an XK or X308 XJ, otherwise it won't work. In fact, I would highly recommend testing the new unit before you put everything back in place.
