Default Crutchfield iPod Adapter

Peripheral iPod® Adapter Listen to your iPod through your factory stereo at Crutchfield.com

I got this and the 2000 Jag S-Type specific Cable for another $9.99.

15 minute installation and now I have MP3 with Steering Wheel Control!

The iPod line level is a little low for my taste but great value for the price!

I am happy!

Does it charge your iPod? I am also looking to find something with a regular aux input as well. I guess this doesn't.

A good quality wired-in FM modulator will give you a conventional Aux input with reasonable quality.

Airanp,
It does charge as well as give you "track" advance from the wheel. There is no additional Aux In...But I am looking at cracking this one to add a second "dumb" (no controls, audio-only) input.

Expensive though!

Do a search on the Yatour adapter which provides aditional input for less

This is great! I've been looking for a good iPod/iPhone solution. I was going to resort to a FM sender solution, but have only heard bad reviews because none of them can seem to send a decent signal, which equates to terrible sound quality. Many thanks!
