Hi

I have just escaped from the X350 section.

I have bought an ELM 327 clone to play with since they are

extremely cheap but can't find v1.13 of scantool which is free of scams.

I am not sure that we are allowed to talk about this?

There are many legitimate versions of the ELM327 chip available which can be used with free diagnostics software.

When you say "ELM 327 clone" do you mean a clone of the original Mongoose manufactured by Drew Technologies?

If so, the V1.34 software is notorious for having a virus which the various Chinese clone suppliers seem unwilling or unable to resolve.

No I think it is a Scantool clone but it is a clone!

I am not looking for software later than v 1.13 since I have read that Scantool

inroduced a fix to later versions to prevent use with clones.
