Default Kenwood Steering Wheel Interface

Can anyone recommend a steering wheel interface to connect a KENWOOD DNX9140 to a 2004 S-type?

Thanks

I have had good luck with a PAC SWI-JACK. Cost me $44.95 plus shipping. Do a search there are many sellers out there, I used WoofersETC on Amozon Marketplace. BTW I installed mine in a 2002 S-type Sport with a Kenwood 9140 head unit.

Don't use a non - programmable (aka hardwired) PAC interface. If your unit has the remote you can use the PAC SWI-X one and program that.

The PAC interfaces have a problem with the Jag Steering controls. They work either with or without the headlights on, depending on when it was programmed. In my X-type I had the SWI-X and it worked by programming them redundantly. You can't do that with the hardwired ones (I have a PAC SWI-PS) in my 03 S -Type now, and it has this problem.

Apparently, the ones from Autoleads work fine. Headlights or not.

Take care,

George
