Radio & Manual
I have a 2006 Jaguar XJ8-L
& been looking for a Audio shop in my area (FL - Pasco County) ever since I bought my car over 2 yrs ago so I can get a newer radio put in and I ran into 2 problems. #1 No Dash Kit {My solution is to have one 3D printed} #2 No Converter wiring from wires in the car to new radio {? dunno what to do} *No Shop wants to hard wire a new radio.* I am also looking to buy the manual to the car b/c it didn't come with it. Any1 know where I can get 1? besides E-Bay, b/c I didn't see one on there the few pages I looked though, I didn't see the right one or missed it. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...f0633e8fb7.png |
The 27 page Audio Handbook applicable to your vehicle was published in 2002 with the Jaguar publication reference JJM 10 03 21/30. It was generic covering all types (Cassette Tape, Single CD and MiniDisc models), all options and applicable to all models fitted with the same audio system.
All results from a Google search I ran linked to the WRONG handbook. The correct one has this as the third page in the Introduction section: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jag...47da60519f.jpg The genuine handbook is available from Jaguar's printers: https://www.jaguarlandroverliteratur...e/replacements Here's a thread discussing these replacement original handbooks: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ne-jlr-157626/ Graham |
Thank u for commenting on my post. I am looking to buy the car's manual just so I have it, not for the radio section, but I could use the schematics for the wiring harness. I am gonna try looking for that.

If you want a new copy of the Owner's Handbook or the complete document set for your vehicle, these are available from Jaguar's publishers:
