Default Subs are dead!

Hi! I bought my 20004.0 S typeabout three months ago, and even though shecame withthe premium sound system the sound I've been gettinghas beenno "premium" at all. Well, while checking things today in mycatI just realized that the rear subs are disconnected or don't work at all! Where should I start? I'm not too good at mechanics or electronics but I'lldo my best following instructions, I promise!

Thanks in advance, this forum is the greatest thing that has happened to me since I own myBlack Cat!

I know where mine are located, and what's involved to make them bump, but not sure about the S-type. If someone can't offer some help soon, alot of car audio places won't charge to 'diagnose' your problem, especially if they find something wrong and can charge to 'fix it'. Hopefully it's a disconnected wire at the amp, but if both are not working, it could be a larger problem.

Just checking some of the basics here ...

(1) the subwoofer volume on the head unit isn't turned too far down is it?
(2) were you rocking out recently with 'the boys', overpowerd the subs and lost all the bass? lol
[blockquote](I couldn't just have one question in the list, so I made one up)

[/blockquote]Try bringing up the subject in a new topic in the S-type section, and link this thread. Not many people subscribe to any other threads other than the X, S, and XJ areas.

Thanks for your ideas, h20boy. I agree with you, I'll post this in the S forum and, if I get no answer in a couple of days I'll take the car to an audio shop. The sub volume is ok, apparently that's not the issue.
