I am putting in hid's in my xtype 2004 so, drivers side fine passenger side not good..no light from low beams..all others working though after nine hours of wire testing i give up..I have tested the wiring harness that goes into the back of both lights..on driver's side...i have 2 power wires..their #'s are five and seven....on passenger side...Only seven has power..and 5 notta..it is a yellow wire with a green stripe...any idea's..do i need to run a new power wire to it....now im done for tonight but back at it...my jag will sit,until i figure this out..pls..any takers...

Irish, see my post in the X-Type forum. That should get your HIDs up and running. Worst case, give me a call and we can get you up and running in no time flat.

 

hate to do it but i may need your number...i went from your posts ..yes i was a little bewillered,but got everything in and 2gether...now no power to pass side still...on back of harness its #5...,,but on drivers side harness i have power in 5 & 7...If ya wouldnt mind P.m ing me your # and what is a good time to call,,I dont know if im diff time zone....But if any one can tell me bout that wire not having power,would love to hear it...i am gonna check fuse 67 its the dip relay fuse..should have checked it first but didnt figure that would be it..JHmmmmm...
