I have the car in next week to get the airbag replaced and have asked for a free map update. I will let you know what happens.

 

Well not sure if I got my map database updated but I got the Nav system updated as well as the instrument cluster update and audio module update. Car is performing extremely well and systems are all go. I think I have quite a few more options now in the menu's. I will have some fun finding out what all these things do.
I had an XE as a loaner for the day and I was reminded of the differences. XF is definitely smoother and quieter, particularly in the back.

 

Here are pics of my system before it went into workshop. I will get some new pics shortly. Apart from version changes there are quite a few other differences.
If anyone has info on what they all are that would be interesting.

 

Here is the NEW system. Seems to be lots more and quite different. I may not have captured all screens from old system.

Hi All, i just wondered if anyone had managed to get a XF map update. I currently have JLRNLIFC6AUSNZ;HMAUSNZ26.1.9765 which is several years old.
I'm sure there is some NAV, GEEK, out there somewhere who can hack the SD card.

 

I just checked the InControl Touch updater and found there is an update as of July 2022. Version 31.4.11810. Unfortunately they still want almost $200.
Anyone got a redemption code?
