Hi out there:
When I lock my 1998 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas, the alarm comes on about 15 minutes later. I unlock the car, start the engine let it run for a minute or so, turn it off, close the door, lock the car, and then the alarm goes off again. I read that the hood may not be connecting to the alarm system - is this true - or that the system may be shorting. I read what could or might be able to do, but I am unable to locate the alarm system under the hood, would someone be able to help. Thanks.
