Any Calgary members?
Hi all, i'm a new member here and a new Jaguar owner. I live in Medicine Hat. I recently took on a trade for my ferrari 360 spider, a 1973 Jaguar XKE V12 E Series III Roadster convertible that is red with black interior. The car is from Calgary, i'm wondering if anyone knows this car at all? Anyway glad to be here and thanks for all the info so far on this thread guys! I was hoping to hear of someone good in southern alberta to work on my car and it sounds like British Auto Specialists will be the way to go
Here's a few pics!

You bet, just acquired it two weeks ago. SW Calgary They just did my front wheel bearing quick efficient and on quote, doesn't get much better . I have also known them through other business dealings during the time I was managing two local performance shops (Guyons and Davenport) and it was all good.
Just Joined from Calgary. Picking up my new (2013) XF 3.0 SC AWD later this week. Anybody have any experience of fitting remote stater to this Model? I am being warned against it due to sacrificing the spare key fob for the chip and the complexities and dangers of taping into fiber optic "wiring".

I am in Calgary. Just bought an '05 X Type VDP 3.0L
It's my first Jaguar. My boss used to own an '02 so when I asked him about them he said "jump on it, you'll love it".
He was right. Already I hate it when I have to get out of it.

Hi folks, Just finalized the purchase of a Black XK8 Vert this PM! Ex-US car with 65000 miles. Everything works but the power passenger seat. Will try swapping the control modules as per the advice in the DIY forum. In addition to the usual gaggle of American Iron, have owned and restored: 1949 MGTC, 1960 Austin Healey, 1973 MGB and a 1986 XJ6. Looking forward to joining the YYC British Sports Car Club!
Did you order the Coupe or the Convertible? Are you planning on driving over the winter? Recommend you join the Calgary Vintage Sports Car Club even though your Jag is new as many members have newer cars also and you will be welcome. You might try Depends while you wait! LOL

Will check out the Vintage Sports Car Club.
Congrats. Pictures are mandatory- of the car not your pants!
JLR Calgary is no better or worse than any other brand dealer. The usual mix of half truths and misrepresentations to achieve a sale. I guess it is naive to believe that Jaguar should be any different from GM. They're all just dealers.
