Default Introduction

Hi All,

Just an intro as requested. I was born in UK but live in Calgary Alberta Canada now and work in pipeline design. I have admired Jaguars forever and dreamed of owning one. My first jag was a new 2008 XF, normally aspirated 4.2 L V-8,
300hp. Driving was incredible for a large sedan. In 2014 I bought an XFRS 550hp supercharged V-8, this is a different car entirely but I still enjoyed the 2008. I used the 2008 in the winter to preserve the XFRS. XF became my winter beater. Quite a beater and performed incredibly in deep snow and -40c temperatures. Never had a problem with either car. I sold the XF this year and now drive my wife's Land Rover in the winter and that goes everywhere no problem.
Cheers,

John

Welcome. Winter beaters have really changed in this country !! I reluctantly drive my 2016 VW Touareg while I wait for spring to get my baby back on the road !!
