Hi all, I'm searching for a project car or driver that needs attention. Specifically a Series 1 Coupe, manual gears, 4.2 liter car. I'm in Los Angeles but can travel for the right car.

I can't help with a project car much but your enquiry brings back memories:
I was in LA back in 1980 and purchased my 68OTS and still own it to this day - absolutely rust free. Drove it back across the states to Ontario in spring 1986 with my dad and was the best trip of my life, wonderful memories. Thanks for that.
Not many jag etypes left in Canada - I attended a british car show back mid nineties that I had been absent from for years and there were NO jags, none! I stopped by a club booth and they stated their membership was down to minimal levels as the members had retired and sold their cars south of the border. There are some car shows in Ontario that still have a decent showing in the Toronto area I'm told.
Vancouver may be your best bet given the warmer climate makes a british car more tangible. Check out youtuber Richard Michael Owen (no affiliation)
