Good evening everyone! I am a new member and owner of a 1998 Jaguar Vanden Plas V8 4.0 L. It was an early birthday present from my daughter. We drove it from BC to Queenstown NB. we enjoyed our trip and had a wonderful exploring this great Country of Our's.

It is taking me a long time to acquire this Jaguar, but thanks for my daughter I now have it. There are quite a few things that have to be fixed, but I am taking one step at a time.
Excuse me for being late in replying, it takes time to get use to this forum and all the information it has.
Thanks for welcoming me to the group.

Just saw this post, I think you might be the closest member to me so far. I'm just North of Fredericton. Our cars share the same motor

Thumbs up Hi

Nice to know there is someone, at least, in my area. I am a first time owner, thanks to my daughter. I cannot wait until the Summer when I can really enjoy the Jag. She was a beautiful drive from Pinantan Lake BC to Home.

let me know, if you need a hand with anything. I've gotten quite a bit of experience with the 4.0 motor in the last 5 years.

Sorry I did not reply to your welcome, but I am not on the forum very much. I done required repairs to have it inspected for the road. Come next spring, I am going to try to fix or have someone look at the passenger's seat as the electrical is not working--someone had pulled it from the seat, thereby not able to move it. Noticed some little quirks, but I can only afford a little at a time. Should I need any help, I will probably send you a message. Thanks.
