Chat on the FType forum about DB levels at various tracks and the melodious / cacophonous/ raucously loud exhaust of the FType.
A Car and Driver article has levels of 97-98 DB or so on one of their test cars.
Pretty sure that exceeds the limit at Mt Tremblant.....where I will be the Aug long weekend with he Boston BMW club.

Does anyone here know if an FTye R has made it through the day at Mt T....or for that matter other tracks...Calaboogie Mosport etc ?

Atlantic Motorsports Park near Halifax is about 1 mile from the nearest farm and the cows apparently don't mind the noise...

I regularly track at Calaboogie my stock F-type S (not R) with no sound-related issues. You might have issues if you have modded exhaust.

I quite like the track, even temptation corner isn't that bad.

 

I am expecting to go to Mt Tremblant with the Boston BMW club the Aug long weekend..not sure I'll make it to Calaboogie though friends in Toronto are encouraging a visit.
