Default Best repair for paint chips and scratches

Hello,

New member here with a question about minor paint chips and scratches.

My new Indigo metallic XK (2008) has a few small paint chips and small scratches. What is the best way to repair?
Body shop
Paint and dent removal company (mobile)
Try to DIY
I want the best possible job without repainting whole panels.

Any previous experience or ideas?

Thanks,

Jeff

Welcome to Jaguarforums.com!!

I would recommend you have your vehicle professionally detailed to start. Then assess the damage such as nicks or chips and using the Dr. Color Chip system complete the job yourself. From what I understand it is very user friendly and delivers great results!

After that you will have a great foundation to start with and maintaining its appearance will then be easier and more gratifying...
