I just put my 2001 VDP (113800km) to sleep a couple of days ago. It is in an underground, heated garage, under a car cover. It also has a full tank of gas. I'm planning on keeping it stored until end of April (5 months or so). What else should I do? I have not disconnected the battery because I'm planning on starting the engine every few weeks just to keep things turning. What else should I do/have done? Please advise. Thanks you!

 

Hopefully she was given a PMD....Preventative Maintenance Detail, that way when you pull her out in the spring all it will really need is a Poly's wash or a mist and wipe to get any dust off.
How about a battery tender?....maintains the battery while storing...I keep one on my 53 F100 and my boat

 

Oh, she's pretty much always kept clean. I detailed her only recently and gave her a full spray wax before storing.
