Default Detail problem

I had my 2010 XKR detailed and the detailer was unable to remove a bunch of swirls. He ended up trying to get rid of them with a rotary buffer, which left new marks in the paint. He asked if I had the car ceramic coated. I didn't but don't know if the original owner did. At any rate, what do I need to do to remove the swirls> The detailer suggested wet sanding. Needless to say, I don't want to go ther. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've never seen a dealer that could detail a car without damaging it. Run away from them.

Whatever you do, DO NOT let them wet sand your car.

If you get a chance, you may check Autopia and Autogeek forums. You can get recommendations for detailers in your area.
