I’m getting ready to repaint my 96 XJS convertible. Planning on keeping the same HFB color. Will remove the crappy bumper guard trim on the sides.

I do not have a garage. I do not take cars to shows. I drive the car everyday to work and home. The paint has faded on the trunk and is starting to go

Is there a recommended paint I should use for a car that is parked outside all day, everyday. Is one brand of clear coat better suited for this than another?
