The unexperienced guy that painted your car does not know what he is doing. Run away from him and do not pay him. He lied to you and cost you a lot of time and money to fix his incompetence. He should not be paid. If it was a guy trying to help you out and he made this mess............well that would be different. But Max told you he had 8 years experience................

IMO, a quick once over and I would have not paid that guy, regardless of any deal.

8 years? Guess he could have told you 20 years right? Sorry that you went through this ordeal. I guess take it as a lesson learned.

Don't forget to post pictures after the new shop fixes it.

 

id tell max what he can do and also to the horse he rides find a high quality shop with a down draft paint booth and expect to pay about $3000 for a total chrome off respray it will be concours the investment will pay off i have shown best of show porsches bmws and mbs in competition for 45 years there are NO shortcuts to perfection sorry you got kicked brother things will get better rock on
