Since my 68 E Type is not going to be dead stock i have decided to replace the stock air cleaner housing with 2 separate one on each of the 2 strombergs. I saw just the style i want in an Edlebrock Catalog but it is for a 4 barrel carb. So what i trying to find is the small Triangle shaped one with a backing plate that will fit on the stock strombergs. Any and all help would be great

I think I recall seeing something like that once before- I had something like that on an MG with HS-6's. Don't recall them having a brand name, but haven't seen anything like that in 15+ years in any catalogs or stores.

 

i found a set on ebay that fit a MG midget already have them in my garage. E type is going along great should be painting the engine bay etc this week dying to see what $3000.00 worth of paint looks like
