Default Best E-Type book, EVER!

I have a collection of books & magazines dedicated to Jaguars, and specifically, to the E-Type. Recently, a fellow club member let me borrow his copy of Jaguar E-Type, The Definitive History by Phillip Porter. Wow! And to think I had read a lot about the legendary car. Treat yourself to a copy if you are a serious E-Type lover; even if you don't own one (yet)!

Before ordering, be sure your pacemaker is charged! The price is over $100, new; $85, used. Be sure you get the updated 2nd edition. You will not be dissatisfied!

Best book, ever, for E-Type lovers!

You might also enjoy Phillip Porter's The Most Famous Car in the World. The story about HP 9600. He owns it. A very well written book.

Do check around! I found my copy on eBay, $30 + shipping (which I think it was $3.99).
Like new when I got it, but I've read it now about 3 times, cover to cover.
Great book, and it helped me know what to look for so I got a car I could be happy with.
There were lots of things I may not have given any thought to, and realized I'd be happiest with a Series II... nicer shifting, better seats, but not cluttered down so much it's not really a sports car anymore. YMMV, but I feel it made a more informed buyer out of me. So, whatever you pay for the book, it's worth it!

From time to time we have any Jaguar book you may be looking for to include original manuals. We currently have the 9600HP listed on one of our stores with a sale going on.
