Carb Refurbishing
Would anyone know a good provider who could refurbish the carbs on my 1973 XKE? I'm in the SF Bay Area, but I've no problem in sending them by FedEx somewhere. It's a barn find and the car has been sitting for 30 years.
Have no doubt. Joe Curto is the go to guy, and he has been around of a long long time with excellent reputation. I just had the cabs for my FHC done by Joe. They came back looking like jewels. The only possible issue is you may have a wait to get your cabs done. Joe is in demand, but it is worth it to have them done right.

Hi Everyone,
This is great advice, thanks very much. The car has been sitting for 30 years and so there are some parts that are a bit gummed up. I have a similar challenge with Jaguar mechanics in the SF Bay Area. There is a great one, but he's only available for two weeks - and then you have to wait for four months for another opening. As with any of these barn finds, it's hard to predict the issues that will come up, so it's difficult to schedule the rehab. It's great to know of resources where I can outsource some of the work.
Thanks again.
