Could someone inform me of that ?

 

which stamp: on the engine, plate, etc. ENgine number is on flat spot on head I beliueve

 

the stamp on the block or head which would match the # on the plate on an original motor vehicle...

and where on transmission for that match to plate ?

am looking to verify "matching #s".

 

The engine number for that year is found on the flat surface at the front of the head and on the flat portion of the block directly beside the oil filter housing. The transmission number is on the rear tab of the gear box case and stamped on the top cover also.
