only have 1 key for my 1970 . how many keys are there for the xke. my 74 has 3 , but none fit right but the ign.

 

Normally for UK cars of this era, there will be one key for the ignition, and another for doors and trunk. That is what my MG Midget has, anyway. The ignition switch also locks the steering. The steering lock key is much longer than the very small door lock key. Most people double up on the keys in case one set gets lost.
