Relay locations /function, on a '70??
Wiring diagrams are helpful, but not if you can't see the wire colors....
Can someone help me with where the various relays are, and what they are?
I can see them, of course, but can't see the wire colors, as they all look black.
Maybe someone has a diagram that can be posted?
I have an older manual, and doesn't have the right info for this.
Thanks
Edward

I recently had to hunt down a number of these as I was repairing damage from a hungry squirrel. There is a relay for the starter hidden to the right of the glovebox. There are either (2) or (3) by the battery - one for the horn, one for the radiator fans and one for A/C if you have it. There is another fan relay by the right side fan motor. These are for for a US LHD model.
Yes, I have seen three of the relays you mentioned, but I don't know which is which...
I "assume" the horn relay is the one with the least number of wires...But the relay under it, is hidden by the battery, so I would have to take out the battery to identify it....This car did have air, but most of the system has been removed by previous owners, and I'm going to get rid of the rest of it, as I think the vents are ugly....I don't know if one of the relays is for the a/c.
Knowing where they are , is helpful, but knowing specifically what they do is the important part....
I think I am going to post photos of the various relays, and maybe then get them identified.
Thank you for your help.
