seat auto recline
does anyone know where I might be able to find a seat reclining mechanism for my 69 fhc? does anyone know of a way to repair the mechanism when the seat back will no longer lock into place (auto-recline).

Hi Bill, the part # is; BD33520 and SNG and XKs both stock it. When I had the seats out of my 69FHC the reclining mechanism looked like it would be fairly hard to repair if broken. Mine wasn't but I think I'd just buy new ones.

I looked it up and it is part# bd33250. At $352 per side that is a very expensive seat ratchet. At that price I think I'll stay with by backyard fix - propping some 2X8 lumber behind the seat.
