Default F Pace Problems

A friend of mine was telling me about a problem with his 20000km F Pace.

He was telling me how he was driving down the highway and all of sudden the car was wandering all over the road.

Stopped and had it towed to the dealer and when they inspected it one of
the control arm bolts had sheared off.

Has anyone else seen the problem as it's a serious safety concern.

Hopefully it was a rare anomaly and not a normal problem...Glad it didn't end badly.

I've looked up any recalls and nothing is mentioned about that issue.

good source to check once in a while: https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/

It's not a recall, lots of issues don't make it to recall. There is a bolt overtorque issue listed in an internal service bulletin not available to the public.
