Angry F-Pace Stop-Start

Hi all,
Is there a way to adjust the Stop-Start technology in my F-Pace?
As soon as I stop at traffic lights, it turns the engine off. A second later when I apply the handbrake and take my foot off the brake, like a good driver, it re-starts! Complete waste of time!
I used to call my wifes Audi for the same thing, my previous car only did this once I had applied the handbrake.
I dont realy want to turn this function off completely, but I might have to.
Cheers,
Ben

Why handbrake? If you want to take your foot off the pedal, you can set the auto hold to either hold the brake every time the car stops (it releases when you touch the accelerator) or set it so when you stop you press extra hard on the brake pedal for a moment and that activates auto hold. Again you can take your foot off the pedal and the brake stays applied until you use the accelerator

There is a cut off for the start-stop feature on your menu page. You can also assign that function to one of the buttons on your steering wheel which will allow you to disable the function at a push of a button. Personally, I hate the start-stop function as it resets and turns back on every time you start your car.

but it will have the auto stop-start switch in the center console just below the trans shift knob.
