Default FPace startup memory items intermittent

Wondering if others have experienced intermittent issues with memory functions on startup.
iE: start vehicle and the following may, or may not work.
*tilt wheel position (sometimes stays in up position - not saved memory position).
*Rear camera stays on after changing from reverse to drive gear.
*Sync for driver passenger temp always reverts to not being synced.
*And the occasional other weird stuff...

How old is the battery? This could be a sign of battery that is about to fail.

+1 to failing or partially discharged battery. The first thing to eliminate before looking for more obscure possible causes.

We ask all members to include VEHICLE DETAILS in their forum Signature for good reason. If this a a 2023 you just drove out of the dealership recently then it is likely to be an electronics fault. If it's a 2017 with the original battery then it's almost certain to be the battery. One thing is certain - it's not the 2009 Vanden Plas in your profile.

Yup, it's not the VDP. As the thread title indicates, it's an FPace. Howver, I didn't indicste in this thread that it is a 2017.
If there was an issue with the battery I would think it would appear more outwardly in terms of the vehicle starting. This has happened since I purchased the vehicle in December. It feels more like wonky electronics. However, I could be wrong. Peter

Peter,

You will get weird electronic behaviour on a modern Jaguar long before you get starting issues. They are all VERY sensitive to battery condition and state of charge. As I wrote in post #3, I'd eliminate this before looking for more complex (and inevitably more expensive) possibilities.

Not shooting the messenger here because I know it's true that this can be a thing. I am no longer amazed at how Jaguar and likely other manufacturers build vehicles this way. So many expensive repairs due to manufacturer either trying to save a few bucks on a higher end vehicle, such as plastic cross over pipes that are doomed to failure which resulted in thousands of avoidable expense to me. That's my rant.
Last Jaguar for me.
