Ironically, the paragraph that caught my eye was about the F-Type, which I agree with completely...
"The other car in the Jag stable that should showcase Ian's considerable talent is the F-Type sports car. But I've never liked it very much. Compared with another Callum design, the Aston Martin DB9 (and before it, the DB7), the F-Type to my eye comes off as musclebound and thick, like a thug in an overly tailored suit who needs brag about how much he just won (or lost) at the craps table."

 

The F pace sure does look really good for its type.. but I do think the F type R is a beautiful machine and have yet to meet anyone that does not agree .. regardless I like its look and the fact that it is not seen on every street corner and I suppose you could say the F type, F pace and XE sport are all in the same league.

My problem with the F-Type is, how do you explain the cramped interior and minimal storage space given all its bulk and size? Yes it looks bad-*** but lacks the graceful lines of the XK (r.i.p.) imo. Maybe if I was 10 years younger I would be attracted to this sort of thing.

 

For sure the F Type is a nice machine, BUT, I still prefer my combo: XKRS and FPace. For me, the XKRS is still the summum of Ian Cullum in the sport car and the FPace is the summum in the SUV market today....
