Proud (tentative) new owner of a 2023 F-Pace SVR Edition 1988...
Picking it up in VA on Monday morning. I've done a good bit of research, and I paid for an independent mechanic to do a PPI so I know this one is clean as a whistle as of now. Just wondering, is there anything you guys would advise me to keep an eye out for? Especially considering I will have manufacturer warranty for a few more years.
Congrats. I believe you'll going to love your new SUV. I have someone who lives in my neighborhood who has one who used it as his daily. Enjoy your car. The electronics are very sensitive of the voltages it gets from the battery. You will see all sorts of warnings lighting up from the instrument panel like crazy. Stay calm and check the battery first. IF it tested defected get a new battery. Mine uses an H7 AGM available at any auto parts stores and slso at Walmart, Costco and Sam's

Congratulations!!! Enjoy your new ride... Just one thing you need to watch out for as mentioned, Our SVR's are very sensitive to the battery voltage. I've had to replace my battery twice, but I think it was due in part to the fact that I don't drive it everyday. Other than that, It has preformed very well. If you get a warning, "Please start car, Battery Low", You'll know it's time to replace the battery.
I daily mine. 5k miles on it so far, but I have a new engine. (45k on the chassis - engine replaced under warranty due to overheating I presume. Block was warped by previous owner).
1988 has a great color spec. Enjoy it!
